Villa Morning Rose, Cap Ferrat

The Villa Morning Rose occupies a special site, as it slopes dramatically down to the Mediterranean Sea in one of the most exclusive regions of France. Within the green zone on the south coast of Saint Jean Cap Ferrat on France’s Cote d’Azure, the owner requested a masterplan to integrate the site’s natural features and steep slope with the existing residence adapted by New York architect, Boris Baranovich Architects. The masterplan uses native and drought-tolerant plants, incorporates a walled cloister garden, an exedra garden, stone paths and steps, and a vanishing edge pool with vine covered pergolas for shade against the hot Mediterranean sun.
