Sustainability, LEED, and Reclaimed Materials
From daily operations in a Gold LEED research center and think tank on the Chesapeake Bay, to working on the first LEED-registered project in Antigua, Preservation Green embraces sustainability at its highest level of compliance.
We are inspired by the aesthetic and intellectual challenge of fusing history, accessibility, sustainability, and inclusion in all of our projects.
Our Gold LEED think tank works with historic reclaimed doors, hardware, furnishings, and artwork—the floor was saved from Baltimore’s historic Read Drug Store, the place of Maryland’s first sit-in for equal rights, which was one of the first sparks of the Civil Rights movement.
